Invitation to Vinitaly 2018: International Wine and Spirits Exhibition in Verona, Italy on 15-18 April 2018

Vinitaly is the largest exhibition dedicated to the wine sector. Every year about 4 thousand exhibitors from all over the world present their top production. Four days of major events attracting more than 150 thousand sector professionals: technical tastings of wine and spirits, overviews of wine-making realities in various regions of Italy, an impressive convention programme embracing conferences, forums and seminars dealing with topics of major current interest that reveal the challenges and prospects for the future.

On it’s 50th year, Veronafiere, Italy (www.veronafiere.it) with its Southeast Asia representative, Felicitas Global Pte Ltd, organized a trade delegation visit from Southeast Asia to Vinitaly 2016. The exhibition was held in Verona, Italy on 10 – 13 April 2016 (Sun-Wed). The Southeast Asia delegation comprised of 15 buyers from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and a journalist from Singapore. Some of the buyers were also selected to participate in Operawine held on 9 April at the city center.

In the 49th edition of Vinitaly, which was held from 22-25 March 2015 in Verona, Italy, Felicitas Global took a delegation of 24 companies from South East Asia (Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia) and including Hong Kong. The delegates participated in Vinitaly Taste & Buy programme, Veneto and other guided tastings and seminars.

Vinitaly is a four days of major event featuring meetings, tastings and targeted workshops to encourage contacts between exhibiting cellars and trade operators, together with an impressive convention programme discussing and analysing topics associated with supply and demand in Italy, Europe and the rest of the world.

The exhibition was held in Verona, Italy, on 7 – 10 April 2013 (Sun-Wed). The Southeast Asia delegation comprised of 10 companies from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,Thailand and Vietnam.

Veronafiere, Italy (www.veronafiere.it) with it’s Southeast Asia representative, Felicitas Global Pte Ltd, organized a delegation visit from Southeast Asia to visit and participate in Vinitaly 2012, on it\'s 46th edition. The exhibition was held in Verona, Italy on 25-28 March 2012 (Sun-Wed). The SEA delegation comprised of 12 companies from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,Thailand and Vietnam.

The exhibition was held in Verona, Italy on 8-12 April 2011. The SEA delegation comprised of 13 companies from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,and Vietnam. Two journalists from Singapore also joined the delegation.

Vinitaly (www.vinitaly.com) is one of the world’s largest wine exhibitions bringing together leading wine producers from all corners of the globe.

Vinitaly Singapore was launched for the first time in SE Asia with an inauguration and press conference held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore on 21 January 2010.

The event generated a lot of interest both among trade visitors as well as among wine lovers in Singapore. Most of the leading wine importers, distributors, retailers and representatives from the Ho.Re.Ca segment were present at the event together with leading media representatives and wine experts from the region. The event also saw attendees coming in from Thailand, Japan and China.
